Hi Kreme Did you get your rim repaired, scratched one of mine the other day pulling into a garage. Not real bad but does need some work on it, thx for any advice you might have.

there has been some mention of going on the 28th (friday night) instead of the 30th. entry fee is cheaper ($20 for driver instead of $30, and $10 instead of $15 for spectators) and your entry fee buys you into eliminations for a chance to win a trophy and $100. there is 3.5 hours of testing and grudge racing from 6:30 to 10:00, then actual eliminations from 10:00until. there are 2 bracket classes, 13.00 and slower, and 12.99 and faster, and X275 is running that night too, which is a go-fast 1/8 mile class. typically 4.50-4.80 1/8 mile times on a 275/60/15 radial.

just food for thought.

I would love to go Friday, but being 2 hours away and having to work all day I don't think I'd be able to make it in time.

well, my cousin (SeriouslySinning) and i are going to go the 28th if anyone wants to go and compete vs just test. there will be plenty of test time too if you don't want to compete and want to come watch some pretty badass racing. X275 is going to be off the chain.

What time are you leaving Richmond? I can join you when you get near Fredericksburg.

If it looks like the weather will hold out I think I'm actually leaving Saturday and probably going to get a hotel. I can't see myself getting up early enough to make it to the track at decent time if leaving from home. I'm bringing my 2 year old son with me and dropping him off with my mother-in-law Saturday near Baltimore, so the wife and I will probably will just stay somewhere near Baltimore. If anything changes though I'll let you know.
