TBH, I would think something halfway up the state would be cool because then I could go to it. My father lives in bakersfield, but that's 4.5 hours away which is like 1.5 hours from LA.

Perrsonally, I'd rather have it like Laguna Seca area which is about 3 hours south of the peninsula IIRC.

i understand and you do have a point that is why i left it as "open" on the location and i believe the location should be set to a spot a week prior to the meet, that is why this thread is open like you said and also i did mention that other region members are welcome, i apologize for not specifying that all regions are open and no dont get me wrong, its not that is like i know or have it all set up im just trying to have a meet and greet just like you are and the so cal camaro club guys are so that we can really get it going because everybody is asking for a meet, and we still have not set it up yet you know so i believe that just getting a meet together and then from there everybody will decide what to do ? how does that sound honestly its pretty cool to meet up lets just all contribute and put our parts to keep this camaro spirit alive in cali.

Ok,
so how about this. If we get enough people from both North and South to drive to Laguna Seca, we'll make the trip. If not, it'll just be a so-cal thing and we can set one up for nor-cal later.

But I can't do 5 hrs one way. I have a wife to come home to.
