Trade in V6 for V8?
Hey guys,so to begin I work at Apple, since the new phone came out I got a raise and better position,so after talking withy dealer I was able to get a SS 2014 for 32K(my father works at chevy) so I was wondering if any guys who did the trade it regret it or loved it ? Any advice would be helpful in my decision tomorrow.

Get the V8. The only regret you'll have will be waiting one extra day.

I'm gonna lose a little money but I don't really mind. Love my nitrous V6 but every time I see an SS I kinda get a envious feeling

Do it! So much more satisfying driving the V8. I worked for an Apple call center a couple years ago, was a pretty awesome experience. They're really a great company to work with, and I'm an Apple fanatic.

If you don't have any attachment to the v6 than go v8! But if you do have sentimental value in your car I would look at twin turbo kit from IPS, that's what I'm doing instead of losing money on trade up.

Coming from the "hot rod days," I can't imagine anything other than a V8. I would say DO IT without a doubt (if you can afford to). The distance you drive though, if it is to be your daily driver, can be a consideration too... Gas is cheaper again, but will likely go back up. I work out of my home, plus have many cars, so I don't care about MPG, but if it were a sole vehicle and I had to drive an hour to and from work, I might reconsider.
If cost and overall fuel expenses are not a major factor, though, I could not see NOT moving from 6 to 8. Again, that's more based upon the old "motorhead" mentality. I mean, seriously, a 6 can get up and move just fine (even if one speeds a bit, there still is limiting factors in speed limits and safety), so it's not so much for the additional power that I'd go 8, but more so simply just because 8 is great.
