I have a 2014 ZL1 and a 2016 hellcat both with NAV but the NAV in the hellcat is generations ahead of the NAV in my ZL1 in a lot of ways .
Is there a software up grads we can get for the ZL1 NAV ?

Hoping Jaron from GEN5DIY will chime in on this one. I purchased a MyLink system from Jaron, he added the "reverse linens", removed the motion lock and added the latest maps.

What type of features does the HellCat offer that we don't have?

I'm not a huge Dodge fan, but I can second that they have a much better infotainment system than GMs do. I had there new Nav system in a rental Dodge mini van and it was very nice and a quite a bit easier to operate.

Who has time to look at the navi? When I choose to drive my Camaro over the truck, I figure I'll drive and drive until I get where I want to go or I've had enough fun for the day.

Hah.

Ain't that the truth?

Or, better yet, is that not the only way to go?

Same goes for the sound system. It's lame but wonderfully irrelevant.

Sound system: LSA engine
Navigation: Eyes and awareness. But if I'm really going somewhere I don't know, which I only did once in my ZL1, I used my iPhone's navigation which looks and performs light years ahead of ANY in car navigation I've ever seen, but especially the MyLink which is pretty poor IMO.

That generation of MyLink and the stereo in general is total crap in the Camaro. I have an 18 Durango and the system it has is one of the best I've used.

Lots of crazy stuff. You can see real time HP/TQ numbers while driving for instance. As a driver I wouldn't want to watch my HP/TQ climb on my NAV Screen while doing a pull since that would be pretty unsafe. But it would be cool for a passenger to watch it go from like 50hp while cruising to mid 600s or more all the while getting shoved to the back of their seat. Do a quick YouTube search of Hellcats ICE. It's pretty crazy all the things you can see/do with it.

Don't bother. Get a PAC dash kit, and pick out a radio with apple carplay or android auto (depending on what phone you have). Constantly up to date maps and complete phone integration. I'll be doing this in the summer
