She's en-route now, should arrive anytime. It was a few days ago that I initially heard the rattle. Between then and now she says she hasn't heard a thing. We haven't been in the car together since I first heard it so I could point it out to her. Unless of course the rattle DID magically disappear..... Doubtful....

Had a rattle too....turned out to be the heat shield above the exhaust pipes around the middle-ish area. Just needed a little adjusting and no more rattle. BTW, the rattle was a little noticeable at idle, but best heard at exactly 8 miles an hour for some weird reason!!

I had that one too, was fixed at 300 miles. I have had like 15 new vehicles, this is the first one I ever had so many problems so early. My blower has been replaced, window seal between front and rear windows, exhaust manifold or heat shield issue, this rattle, and there is another big item that I'm forgetting...

Anyway, with only 4k miles I'll be glad if I can get a few trouble free miles out of it now.

Ahh OK. Was curious because of your location.

Thanks for letting me know that a missing pinch weld isn't a big deal structurally, I don't know enough about cars to understand the significance of the issue. Makes me feel a bit better.

That sucks BlueRay!
This is the first New car we've ever bought and I'm in my 40's. The only reason I pulled the trigger was the 0% interest we got. Keeping my fingers crossed all is well with ours. My wife drives it mostly and is in complete bliss. However she doesn't have a trained mechanically sensitive ear to pick up on stuff lurking just below the surface.

Mine develope a rattle and it would come and go, but only when the top was up., friday my son and I were going to the Tail of the dragon, and I hit a bump and I heard the rattle. We started looking for it and discovered the plastic panel that surrounds the latch handle was loose on the passenger side near the window. I tried to snap it back but it didn't help. I have an appointment at my local dealer at 2 to look at it. I will keep you informed.

Update: the clip that holds in the panel was broken off, they are ordering a new panel to replace it...

This time they re-tourqued the rear seat belt retractor. That seems to have fixed it.

I think that's my issue, was tapping the exhaust at mid point and its like metal tinging inside the exhaust but its probably somewhere along the exhaust. I'm gonna call the dealer, I emagine it's a warranty thing, car is a 2011 with 2900 km
