FSP Go Big Or Go Home Stock Bottom - Vortech YSi, Squash, Pfadt, DSS, ECS, Alky, ID

This has been a build that our client has tailored completely custom to his setup, and actually has helped with part of the work on the car. He has allowed us to recommend only the best of the best parts, with no hesitation on putting the best components together for his street ride. The culmination of this build has been over the course of a few months (In Stages), but we just finalized the last new modifications to it over the course of the last two weeks before sending her back home!

To put this build together, a few special thanks go out... Tommy at ECS built us a transmission in one day. Frank at DSS rushed us a rearend while he was in the middle of moving. Blair made the moves at Pfadt to get us our components on 2 day air. Andy from Squash pulled a module for us luckily we grabbed the last one the shelf. Jimmy @ Vortech overnighted Sat delivery a YSi to us. FTI's great converter puts this combo all together and makes a nice hard launch on the street.

The car hits real hard on the street, paddle shift mode makes it a bit more manageable, around 4700RPM it just pulls like a LEER JET! The transmission feels rock solid, firm shifts, comfort part throttle, feels like a real race transmission on the shifts. You can light them up on every downshift pretty easily at anywhere around 100 and below. The ECS Big blower cam gives it an aggressive sound coupled with the whine of the YSi and woosh of the Vortech BV57 bypass valve. The Pfadt parts aid to the handling, and keep the car straight when the tires want to peel off the rims! DSS rearend is solid, and the 3.70 gears are fun.

We could remove the restrictor and make 23-24psi... But we'll have a motor on the stand before that

Whats the limit with the 10-Rib before belt slip? At what point would a cog setup be needed?
