Trade in ZL1 for GT-R Black Edition?
Ok, need some feedback here.
On a lark, I went over to a Range Rover/Jaguar dealership because I heard that they had a gently used 2014 GT-R Black edition for a great price. I got there and they let me test drive it, which was awesome, and then without seeing my ZL1 (again, on a lark didn't have it with me, had my DD) they offered me enough (well into the black on it with this offer) and showed me preliminary numbers and the monthly payment is doable. Thoughts?

If you have the money I say do it. I love the black edition, those cars are sweet.

To each his own. If it's what you want and you can afford it then do it. Personally I wouldn't, but then again I'm not in the income bracket to afford a GT-R. If you can pull off the deal and you want it, I say do it.

it's hard for me to say, it's what you want. we all know how great the GT-R is. the Camaro is better looking, no question. The GT-R is better performing.

I think the ZL1 is a better looking and has way more features / gadgets too! My cousin works at a Nissan dealer and of course he likes to post them but they really don't anything for me! But it is a sports car vs a muscle car! Where I live I see them and they don't get any attention neither like the Camaro's! But probably because they don't stand out that much if any.

That’s a nice car but tough decision. For the same reason I did not get a Corvette this time around….and that’s because the interior is a bit more limited than the ZL1…making ZL1 better as a daily driver. The Corvette is something I would ADD to the fleet…but not switch out a ZL1 for. Ditto for the GTR.
If you’re racing then I guess that’s a different story. |
