Is the ZL1 exhaust piped differently?

If I put a ZL-1 rear bumper/valance etc on my '11 SS ca I also run a ZL-1 cat-back setup like the Corsa etc?

Yes, I just did exactly what you are asking. It bolts up to the factory cats and it removes that resonator in the OEM piping. It sounds awesome. I also installed kooks headers and green high flow cats but the speeds shop advised me that they bolted it up for fitting with my OEM cats and it fit perfect. I bought a 2013 diffuser here on the forum and looks really good with the quad tips.

We have put the Magnaflow ZL1 catback on the SS's a few times. The piping is a little different size at the inlet, so an reducer of some sort will need to be used.

Best regards,

First I have heard of this. It's 2.5" and should bolt right up.

The ZL1 is actually 2.75" IIRC. It was definitely not a direct fit.
