I guess it is like Speedster says. " I don't mind spending money, I just hate Wasting money"

I seem to be finding out more and more about all this. It seems that when Savini makes deals like this that Savini gets paid there full price and the vendor is not really making any money except on the tires, mounting and balancing. Whyich is probably why the vendors are not real happy and don't want to refund any money since they did not make any on the transaction besides the mark up on the tires.

What it really comes down too is, if you're going to spend $6,000 to $8,000 for a set of wheels well then there should be no question that you're not going to have problems with finish, vibrations or whatever else. Hell, for that kind of money they should throw in a trip Vegas.

See, this is what I thought. I'm not the kind of guy to spend 6k on wheels. I spent 4200.00 before all of my problems. Easily over 6k after tires, all the mounting balancing and shipping.

I figured this would be the best wheels I could buy. I was dead wrong. It's all about marketing. And Savini is really pretty and put their wheels in the right places on the right cars at the right times. Attention to detail is LOST with them.

It would seem to me that these wheels are more for trailer queens and not for everyday use. I know if I was you and this happened to me, I would have went off my nut. I can't believe how well you handled the whole thing. If they keep this up, their days will be numbered for sure.

Not exactly They LOOK pretty and they vibrate or they don't look good but don't vibrate or they vibrate and don't look good.

Some vibrate, somes finishes fall off and others do both.

For the money.... yes.

They'd be worth it if they were more in the 200.00 per wheel range.

Funny Lori comments about paying for rims or a supercharger....and I'm tracking with you on a solid compromise. I watched some of the above drama unfold and decided to go with a more cost effective rim/tire combo (so I could still afford a blower!!).

Semper Fi!
