I was driving along today and stopped at a light and a guy in a Mitsubishi rolled down his window and asked me that question . I replied "not sure... 160 maybe ". He said they should make em faster, said his V6 could do 190 mph. Can anyone tell me what top-end is. I'm breaking in and not about to find out that way.

If it would do it ,it will bounce off the limiter at 155. Some say they'll do 160. Some info I've read online has them top end rated at 145. Never opened up the wife's yet but I've hit 100 quite easily once. She disapproved.

Oh, and what Mitsubishi was the guy driving that said it would do 190? Wasn't a Mitsubishi Zero was it?

Speed limited to 155, when I was stock I hit 142 without a problem then I hit an invisible wall, don't know if it would go faster with additional road. I'd be surprised if you can get the V6 to go 155 stock.

142 is rockin' and rollin' by any standards. No autobahns here that I am aware of to warrant the need anyway. Maybe I'll check out the wife's one day when she's looking the other way.

190? Should have told him to stfu. I went through two Lancers, 2010 and 2013, and two 3000GT's, 1993 and 1996 soooo you could say I am Mitsu guy. Let me guess, it was a kid, hat backwards, fat oversized tires and stupid loud pipes? Love the cars and tech under the hood, but hate the average river morons behind the wheels.

I hit 169 mph in my L99 camaro tuned. speed limiter at 155 mph on these cars. Wasn't much more left in it though. And these cars don't handle that great up that fast they get real light lol

160 is probably about it, think there was a video somewhere of it being done. but unless he had a turbo, that Mitsubishi isn't hitting 190

Ok , thanks. I guess I was not far off. I won't be doing a track of course and I sure wouldn't check out top-end on a road .

Whatever it is... it's much faster than I'll ever need to go. I know my SS will do 130 with no problem.

Maybe Mitsuboy meant kms... Yeah, I can see 190 kms/ hr, as long as he puts Folgers cans on in lieu of mufflers, a park bench for a whale tail, tints the windows, and removes anything resembling suspension.

3000 GT Vr4 are V6 twin turbo cars but I know the cant do 190 it might say that on the Speedometer but the car will never get there. I laugh at people who think that what it says on the speedo top end thinks that what their car will do lol.
