Whipple Pulley Issues

Curious what pulleys you guys are using to get what boost. I know this is a very imperfect science but I am sure the answer is here or close at least.

My car has LTs, Rotofab and a blower cam. On the 3.875" pulley it only produced a whisker over 7.5 psi. I want to see at least 10 if not 12 psi....what size pulleys are you running to get what boost on a similar combo? We have two more pulleys on order....just curious what you are seeing on your combo on what size pulley etc.

Any thoughts.......also interested to hear what you are running for timing in your tune as well.

Thanks.

Keep in mind the cam changes your boost level compared to the stock cam..Dont get hung up on a boost number i would stop at 600rwhp with a stock motor

Also remember that long tubes will take 2psi out of it as well.

I have a 3.65" pulley and get only 8lbs, but that's on a 419 stroker with a blower cam, ported heads, and LT's.
