NJ Area Fall Camaro Meet - Staten Island, Brooklyn & Central NJ Interest - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am trying to gauge the interest of those that are in the central NJ, Staten Island, Brooklyn or surrounding areas in putting together a fall meet. Realistically I would like to put something together in the south shore Staten Island area just a few minutes from NJ to accomodate as many NY & NJ area owners as possible.

If anyone has interest please post here - if we have enough interest we can begin to work on arrangements. This would give both NJ & NY owners an opportunity to meet and enjoy a day with fellow car owners.

I personally have (2) cars that I would like to bring - a 700hp 2010 Camaro and a 1969 COPO 427 Camaro.

Charleston Shopping Center - Home Depot, Charleston Staten Island 10309

Coming from NJ:

Take the NJ Turnpike to exit 10 (coming from south) or exit 11 (coming from north) towards Outerbridge crossing. Also from other parts of NJ you can take 287 south to 440 into Staten Island. Once across bridge stay to right side of toll plaza (very important). Get off immediately on other side of toll plaza for Page Avenue. At light make a left and then your next left onto Tyrellan. Stay straight and it will lead you directly into the shopping center with Home Depot on your right.

Coming from Goethels Bridge:

Take West Shore Expressway to exit 1. When you come up to light at the end of ramp stay straight into the shopping center and follow road around to Home Depot on your right after target.

definately want to do something big in the spring I have a 69 also id like to bring with my 2010 SS

I am anticipating making it on a Saturday afternoon later this month - just minutes from NJ Turnpike in Staten Island. My goal is to get interest of about 30 owners and therefore we would expect that about 15-20 would actually attend. I am shooting for this location as it is central to both NY & NJ owners. The last 2 meets have been in NJ so I am hoping we can accomodate NY owners a little more to get a good turn out.

I think it would be a great idea to have this open to all generations of Camaros. It seems that alot of people have some really nice cars to show off - not only 5th generation Camaros.

Lets start with the date of 11/21/09. This is the weekend before Thanksgiving and a Saturday. I dont want to press it too far into the fall as the weather could turn at any time and ruin any hopes of making this happen.
