Camaro Commercial!!!!

Hey, hey!!! Did anyone else see the 09 Camaro commercial? It was during the ad for the Transformers DVD, it was about two minutes ago on the Sci Fi channel. They showed a pure yellow Camaro about half way through the DVD ad, it was on for a couple seconds. Ooooooo I want mine now!!!

Na, that wasn't the commercial I seen. It had an angle shot from the hood, (no stripes) back. At the end below the grill in text it said "Camaro out in 09"

OMG!
I just left the website(Cool pic by the way Scott) and I am so giddy about the development. It helps that Chevy is now reinforcing the release of the car by having a contest to win one. I dont know about you guys, but I registered to win a customized Bumblebee. Well its getting closer and I am on my way out the door to go pick up my copy of Transformers!

BTW here is the link:

As i don't live in the US and as i am not even american, I read the rules.

unfortunately, i can't enter.

BUT!! I READ THAT:

Quote:
THREE (3) GRAND PRIZES/ARV: 2009 Chevrolet Camaro – Transformers Bumblebee Replica Edition-(ARV/MSRP: $40,000). This replica will be a production-version Camaro modified to resemble the exterior of Bumblebee, as seen in Transformers: The Movie. Specialty enhancements/design upgrades may not be covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Grand Prize vehicles will not be available for delivery until 2009. Winners must take delivery of vehicle within thirty (30) days of notice of availability from GM-selected dealer near each winner’s residence, and each will be solely responsible for sales tax, registration, license, title and insurance fees and cost of any additional optional equipment not provided with Grand Prize vehicle. Grand Prize vehicles’ APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV) is based on forecasted 2009 Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of a base model Chevrolet Camaro. Winners must a have valid driver’s license from jurisdiction of residence and proof of insurance to take delivery. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize in whole or in part with another prize of comparable or greater value if the intended prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Each winner will be responsible for all taxes (not limited to federal, state, provincial, local and/or income) on Grand Prize and if a U.S. resident will be required to provide, to Administrator, his/her Social Security number for tax reporting purposes. Administrator will file an IRS Form 1099 with the Internal Revenue Service for the fair market value of any prize awarded to a U.S. resident.

gives a good idea of price, no?

Actually it's been said in a number of places that, no, that's not an accurate projection of the real base model Camaro's price.

Even FBodFather himself said so IIRC.

I hope $40,000 isn't base price... if it is I will seriously have to rethink my financing options lol...
