I know there is a fair amount of SoCal guys going. I was very down to go and still am, i have a choice to make, C5FestIII or a motorcycle..... Decisions, decisions.

I was born and raised in Chicago, and I have made the hike from Chicago to the west coast a number of times. I'm still on the fence with this one, as it is a huge time commitment for us coming from the west coast. However, if I do this I will insist on visiting home (aka Chicago) and would love to take some people with me to show them the hidden gems of Chicago.

im soo in cause if i drive i had already planned on doing the same

i have family in chicago too and had scheduled to go see my grandmas grave :/

Have you ever drove downtown later at night in a car with a mean exhaust? It's an epic experience. Traffic is so minimal I'm confident we could take a quick picture on LaSalle St w/ Board of Trade

Well if we have more than 5 I'll contact the City of Chicago and get permits to block the road off for 20 minutes. If it's done at 10pm on a weekday they shouldn't care.

I'm signed up to go and if I am still employed you can count me in on that. I was headed to Rockford and someplace just outside of chicago to visit with friends and family.

i'm down with driving across from SoCal. I will return from Afghanistan in June and will be making that trip on my way to pick up my kids in Ohio. Wife and I will join anyone drivng from socal. My moving cross country and Cf could not have been timed any better!
