Now does this have anything to do with the Double Din head units being used for the depth clearance?

Just curious if the Metra trim can be perfectly flush to the dash like the OEM radio. Other than that it does look super nice.

Im going to buy this kit in the coming weeks so I want get some install tips regarding the fit.
Well, not sure about Feslers install but I do know my photos were not the end result. We have to trim up the panel some to make it fit flusher into my dash because of the leather on my dash. Others will not have to do this.

I am sure it will be pretty close. Do I think it will be 100% like OEM. No..
Aftermarket parts there is always a level of tolerance that you have to have if someone is not willing to accept that they should not mod IMO.

An ex Ultimate Audio guy that has grown to his own. His work is amazing and did most of the cars seen on there site.

He takes it up a few levels with cad programs and tuneing it when it's done.

He even found a few blems that he is fixing for us. Not often you get your car back better than when it was dropped off.

easy nav is just plug in speakers/power/antenna and go... but i fear this is not the case

How do you handle the rest of the "CONFIGURATION" that is handled by the STOCK radio? I like the concept.

It looks awesome. I will definitely be looking into doing this whenever it is I get my Camaro. I think that looks like the best set-up offered right now. Not a big personal fan of the big circle knobs in the middle and this is the perfect solution IMO. Great set up man, looks awesome!

Okay, final words..

You need an antenna adapter. I can supply you with this or you can get it from your local installers shop.

On Star - If your adding additional amps you can use the Metra kit and run the onstar though this unit which enables your speakers. If you want to run a separate speaker you can do so as well.

Steering wheel controls - If you have a Camaro that already has steering wheel controls you DO NOT have to buy an adapter to make it work...

If you do the only item you will need is the Antenna adapter that I sell.
