Air Fuel Ratio and Wide Band Gauges
So there are quite a few that have superchargers on the Camaros now.
I'm wondering three things: 1. Are the factory O2 sensors Wide Band sensors that you can tie an AFR gauge in to? 2. If not what wide band are you guys using and what gauge? 3. What AFR are you seeing at part throttle boost? |

I'm waiting for my Procharger to be installed, but I'll be using the Nexus Autometer Boost/Wideband/DPSS in my ride.. I have no idea how the hell I'm gonna put them in there. I haven't seen any gauge pillars out for the 2010 yet. I refuse to put anything that looks like shit in the car though, so if I can't find a NICE gauge pillar I guess I'll have to hold off on putting the gauges in the car.

The Nexus are nice gauges, pricey but very nice.
I'm surprised there are no pillar or dash pod gauge mounts available yet. |

Im not sc'ed yet but I currently have the LC-1 Wideband Controller on my nitrous truck for the past 5 years and it still works. As for gauge I currently have a digital readout on said truck, it is similar to the one ADM performance has but it looks like a traditional gauge.
I will want to use the XD-16 or maybe the bracket from ADM for the Camaro.

The factory is not a wideband sensor.
As for meters, there are tons on the market. AEM uego gauges are very popular -because they are inexpensive -have a digital read out -all in one gauge. We typically sell these, and you can have the bung welded in the exhaust collector for 10-15 dollars at most muffler shops. At wide open throttle I wouldn't want to see anything higher then 12.2 on pump gas, and ideally 11.8 would be target. If you have more questions don't hesitate contacting us. We will be releasing color matched pillar pods in approximately 4 weeks as well. Regards |
