Awesome first racing season for the new Camaros, Stevenson especially.
Did anyone else notice the #5 TPN/Blackforest car? Tom Nastasi was racing a Dodge Challenger...on a road course! Evidently they've been around all year, but they've been tooling around in the back of the grid so I never noticed them. I'd love to see TPN take a step forward over the off season so they can run with the Camaros and the Mustangs. The three American hot rods could just leave all those bimmers behind!! BWAAHAHAHA! :flag2:

Yea, the Dodges have had a lot of engine issues. They tried to compete this season also, but just could not get the engines to hold together, from what I understand anyway. I can't say much, we had our share of engine issues also, lol.
It was great seeing them there. I hope they are back for the season next year also. Would be nice to see the big three compete again. It was awesome to watch the race lastnight, lol. Even though I am there, I still can't see all the action. |

Man! Another Stevenson guy?!? I swear I love this forum.
If only NFL teams were so involved with their fans. See you guys at the track next year! Maybe we can get a Camaro5 group to show up all at once!

Hey everybody!
I didn't think to check here to see anything about the race... that was my bad! The 2010 season was a doozy! Thanks once again to all the Camaro fans for their enormous support on our freshman year. I don't know what next year will bring yet, but I know it very well could be the year of the Camaro. Utah was interesting. More laps lead by our 6 car, but about 20 laps in I lost ABS. The Camaro is difficult by itself to brake without the system, but add the fact that we have a significantly larger volume front brake system which means there's more pedal travel and less feel. Most of the time we were locking up the brakes we didn't even know it! The car was a handling DREAM. It was a very low grip track on an even lower grip day but our little Sunoco Camaro battled through with excellent balance. Just one more example of a weekend made incredible by the Stevenson crew! Keep up the support for 2011, this sport is no fun without the dedicated fans. I've said it before (and I'll say it AGAIN), the Camaro 5 fans are some of the best I've ever seen!!! -Matt Bell
