And the LPE pulleys are made by the same company that makes OTHER places stuff.

I like lpe stuff. Its good quality..

turning the snout down to fit the 2.35 is all the "extra" work needed and is not a big deal. ANY machine shop can do it while you are having the old pulley removed and the new lpe pulkey adapter put on. Then you can do the 2.55 realize im right and spend the extra 100 on the 2.38 later lol.

a 2.35 will make 15 pounds of boost.. I always lol when I hear about belt slip on these 1.9.s.. it is basically complete bullshit.
But How do you REALLY KNOW FOR SURE?

Belt slip is very illusive and many times we can only find it on a dyno while logging Manifold pressure with the Dyno Sensors.

Belt slip occurs during throttle transitions and you won't even know it.

Belt slip must be extreme before can be seen on a boost gauge in the car while driving.

You could have a consistent 10-20% slip and never know it.

The pulley diameter driving the supercharger is under the most stress and 100% Traction Never Happens.

I know it by putting miles in it. Its very simple. belt slip creates dust. I have a combined 40000 miles now between 2 cars and that pully setup.

my hp never leaves my zl and I prob make 3 logs a week just playing around.

The 2.38 fir a simple bolt on car is the answer, period. The INLY reason to do tje 2.55 and a lower is ..

a. You want to do the 2.38 and 10% lower for the track ( dont do this fir reg driving unless you want to kill the blower, ask me how I know)

B. You dont like money. .

Belt slip does not create dust unless it is excessive to the point of hearing it.

We Use Laser Optical RPM sensors on the pulleys and dyno the car and bring up the graphs trust me there is ALWAYS belt slip and it always gets worse with smaller supercharger pulley.

are you saying for a daily driver to not go below a 2.5 pulley? getting ready to do some mods but mine is a daily driver with 28k miles in 19 months.

IF THAT'S THE CASE THAN WHY OFFER A LOWER PULLEY WITH THE 75RWHP K IT INSTEAD OF AN UPPER PULLEY?
SINCE I HAVE THE 75RWHP KIT WHAT UPPER PULLEY SHOULD IN USE TO GET MORE HP/TQ?

Ryan from LPE seems to be pretty solid on trying to get me to buy the 2.55 to avoid belt slip. Idk why!

All the vendors on this page are telling you because of belt slip...

I think you misunderstood, those percentages are all lower pulleys that are available for your ATI Superdamper.

You can just swap the lower when your ready.

Emailed Jeff at LPE and he is saying to get the 2.35 just gotta machine the OD on the snout to get it to fit. So now I'm questioning why Ryan keeps telling me about belt slip and Jeff isn't concerned the least bit.

Does anyone have any ideas or had to shave the snout for the 2.35 pulley to fit?

Any suggestions?
