"R6P: Early Order Activity Vehicle" Order Option - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I got a copy of my Preliminary Order Detail yesterday. Under the "Ordered Options" section, everything seems to make sense except for the "R6P: Early Order Activity Vehicle" item. Does anyone know what this means?

It's just something they've added to all the preorders. It remains to be seen if there's any sort of special surprise along with them or if it's just a code that goes on the window sticker signifying it was a preorder (still cool).

It's a special code to reflect the fact it was a pre-order. It's still up in the air wether this will include any type of special meaning other than for documentation purposes.

It means it is one of the preordered cars and will be price protected. If they have any price increases it will not effect the agreed upon price you and your dealer should have made. It also give you access to a website that has a couple pictures to download, you will get your own passcode when you get your Welcome Kit in a few weeks.

It is an added feature for Camaro enthusiasts regognizing them and our early order. Just more of a nice documentation piece for us collectors. I am glad GM did this.

It should be on the inside door jam sticker with all the other codes/options. It has the potential many years down the line of adding some value to your car if these cars become sought after in the future.
