Update:

Thanks everyone for the input. I had an appointment and looked over the car with the salesman. The guy is honest and great to work with!

Basically as most of you said- the tires are unevenly weared, the dented fender has no paint correcting or scratch, the inside liner is popped out of place, and the lip is "off" on both ends of the bumper. However, it does appear to be an easy fix which they are willing to offer and do.

The price is firm and unfortunately I told him I will not waste his time trying to get it down and I am passing on this car.

I know I need to be patient but its summer and at least it feels like i'm running out of time...lol If that makes sense?

Here is the listing: http://www.denooyerchevrolet.com/inv...ft1ew9d9190020

Pass if the dealer will not go down on the price, as others have said. Also I'm not sure if you know, but if all you want is only a 5th gen 1lE, for "driving fun", you may want to also consider that in 13 the Recaro Seats were not offered, nor was there an engine bay vent in the hood and 14-15 had better rear and front end down force due to improvements in aero and ZL1 rear spoiler. Also with the abnormal tire wear on that car it "may" have a bad strut or suspension part.

If that price is firm, they ain't selling it anytime soon. $30K+ is what the cream of the crop of used Gen 5 1LE's go for....which that 2013 is certainly not.

Dang...I paid $30K for mine 10 months ago, and it had 200 miles on it. Mine is a 1SS, but has Recaros and NPP which to me, are must haves on this car.

Just for reference I got my 13 2ss/rs 1le with 4300 miles 3 months ago for 27000 with CPO at the same dealer it was bought from ( 60 something man ordered the car and traded back in ) . I was looking for a 13 and drove 2 hrs from home and it was a seemingly good deal for what I could find in 300 mile range .

If you're willing to spend $30K and ok with having it shipped to you (or fly there, drive back) you'll find a gem.

Here's an example of a 2015 2SS that you'd get for less than that '13. Probably cost you $800 to have it shipped enclosed to you.

yeah absolutely, i know the refresh years 14-15. For some reason, I really don't mind and like the 13's too. Obviously, the 14-15 are more desirable but at this point I just want a nice one, doesn't matter the year.

As mentioned, there are some advantages to the 14/15's.

Along with the mentioned Aero improvements/Recaro's were available, you can use quite a few 14/15 Z/28 parts on them as they bolt right up.

If you're on Facebook, there are a few 1LE owners groups where members are regularly posting their cars for sale.

Also, you probably know this one already, but I'll throw it out in case.

On sales sites like www.cars.com, you can use phrase keywords like "1LE" to narrow down results on Camaro after narrowing down by Year, etc.
