I have had it with doing stuff to my car. I am sick and tied of spending money on it. Don't get me wrong I love my car and can't wait to drive it But I am sick of spending money on it. Every time I get a littel money in my pocket I am looking to spend it on the car. Anyone else stop spending money on there car

I go through stages..... they have been getting better from what they use to be. I use to save up money for things and keep an extra chunk in the bank... Then when I would have a good amount I would start to think... huh you know if I wanted to I could get this and then do that...and as soon as that kinda thinking would start my hand would reach for my card and before I knew it I was online tracking packages... A new turbo here, some carbonfiber there...then I was right back to being poor.

The only thing stopping me from going over the edge with the SS is the fact that I tell myself that I am paying it off and keeping the warrenty so I can trade it in and get a ZL1 (most likly used)...

I even tried finding other hobbies... but I just waist to much money and end up going back to the car parts... its like crack

O my god it's really like crack you just can't help your self. You no what you are doing is wrong but yet you still buy it.

I'm done til I can afford an ls3 conversion with a super charger.

yup, im TRYING to stop, being a college student. the money i have im trying to save to do fun things.. i almost hurl when i figure out the amount ive spent on my car total, but it was worth it i guess

I just hurled out $6000 in mods and will be stopping there for awhile. Not my daily driver though and keeping the car from what my wife says forever.

If I learned anything in life, it's that it's too short, so why not enjoy your money? We may blow money on our cars, but everytime we jump in it or look at it, yousee all the hard work you put it into it
Modding a car may be a dumb investment, but at the end of the day, you have something to show for all your hard work. And most importantly, it's makes the permagrin even better
I'm done fighting my brain to stop modding, I just give in lol
