light dims, battery problem?
i was sitting in my car with it on in the parking lot last night reading something on my phone. every 30 seconds my main light (by rear view mirror) dimmed just a little bit. no other lights dimmed and i didn't see the volt meter dip either.
i just installed an amp with the FARK harness and attached my power/ground to the amp directly with some solid connectors. everything was buttoned up tightly but do you think somehow my battery's connection is what causes the slight dimming occurring here? |

I believe their is a TSB for this issue.

Did you install a capacitor. Might be an option.

Curious about this too. My dash lights fluctuate intensity a little. No aftermarket amp, yet!
My drivers seat heat won't stay on for more than a minute or two either, just started doing that. Passenger seat heater works fine.

I've recently noticed an issue with my cluster lights. Twice now they've gone really dim, dimmer than if I had them dimmed all the way. Both times I moved the dimmer up and down a few times and they came back. Not sure what's up with that.

My light does that same thing but i dont have an amp or aftermarket speakers.

My lights dim to when I have the dome light on and i hit the brakes or turn signals. I brought it in before to the dealership and they told me the battery failed a load test but then I checked the dome light again and it did it worse. I brought it back in today, maybe they will tell me something new tomorrow.

It could have dimmed every time the fan kicked on since you were sitting still.
