Help with replaceing purge valve canister error code p0496
I have searched on the Web every were. I have found pics and videos but none show you a step by step process on how to replace the part. I know it's located behind the rear passanger wheel. I could see it once i removed the wheel but it's in a small campy area. I also saw a you tube video that's claims they did it them selves. After trying and trying i fine see how they were able to. Is there anyone out there that can help. The dealer ship stays a minimum of $5000 to have it fixed. please let me know. Thank you

Wrong section to post this question, but IF you Search this section, you'll find a DIY on the issue. Someone has done it without dropping the gas tank.

Have you checked your gas cap? The P0496 is usually associated with the purge solenoid, but that is located under the hood. The vent solenoid is the one above the rear axle. That is usually the culprit when you get the P0449 Code. Now if you do end up replacing the vent, It is so much easier to just lower the subframe via the 4 bolts. It took me about an hour. I initially tried without dropping the rear, and my hands and arms took a beating
