Question about onstar app >remote start

Love being able to start my car when I'm in my apt especially now it's so cold out. But it says all you do is start the engine and redo it to make it run for 20 min. After I start it once, and then tap the start engine again for the additional 10 min it says it can't start.. Any suggestions?

Read the Manual. That is the way it was made. 2 - 10 min starts then the key has to start the car before it will work again. Same with the key fob.

Does it add 10 mins if doing it from the keyfob? Only having the issue through OnStar? If so, I'd push the OnStar button and ask them, maybe their process only allows once.

So I just happened to leave my car home today and your post gave me a thought, scare the shit out of my wife.

Anyway I called her then secretly started the car in my garage (while at work 20 miles away), OMG it was so funny, scared the crap out of her. I can confirm though that it will start 2 times with the onstar app.

The manual says nothing about the onstar mobile app.
The app itself says just hit the button after you do it the first time and it's running, who knows. 10 min should be enough I guess.

I think it means you can restart it again after the 10 minutes is up, for a total of 20 minutes. If you hit the button and it's already running, it can't start again.
