Bluetooth and the Motorolla Q
I have a very frustrating problem with the car and my Motorola Q phone.
I pair the phone and everything appears to be ok. When I return to the car with my phone, it shows an incoming call on the display. When I press the button to pick this call up (its not a call) it wants to me to transfer it. I can do nothing at this point other than hang up and then the blue tooth does not work. My girlfriends blackberry works fine! It pairs and allows incoming and out going calls. Is it a problem with the phone? Paul |

The display actually shows Private call and Menu. Pressing menu gives you the option of transferring call and thats it.

I had a Q and it would do all sorts of wacky stuff with the bluetooth in the car. I never had this specific problem but I had a lot of problems where it would jam in private call mode and stuff like that.
Good Luck... I dumped mine and bought a droid.
