Gm Accessories Kicker Amplifier upgrade?

I was looking on gm accessories zone and saw part number # 19119200 its listed as "Kicker Audio Upgrade, includes 200-Watt DSP Amplifer". Does anyone have any further info as to what this is, what it includes, and if it would be an upgrade for us with the boston acoustics sound system. It also appears there is a kicker subwoofer as well which looks like it fits off to the side of the trunk as opposed to right in the middle like the mtx sub box. I wish this stuff was available when I got my MTX sub box, I still may end up going for this new kicker stuff after I learn more about it.

I was looking at that also, but after seeing the price, I thought it would be better to get a true system upgrade with new front, and back speakers, an Alpine amp for the front and back, and another mono amp for a 10 inch sub. All of that came to about 100 dollars less and will have a bit more punch. I have the standard stereo system though, not the BA.
