Purchased high level Camaro and financially regret it?

Anyone on the forum who will admit that their choice in going up a level with a Camaro has effected them negatively financially and they regret it?

Example:
You could def afford LS but you bought 2LT and are hurting because of it?
Or you bought a 2SS when you could only def affored a 2LT etc.

My situation:
I can afford a 2SS putting more than 1/2 down on it. The only financial issues I could see is purchasing 93 prem gas.

Any opinions? or people willing to admit they regret the choice financially?

You should have known that going in. Financing the car is only part of the deal.

Honestly, if you can foresee issues coming up with money for gas, do not buy the car.

It's a few extra dollars every fillup. If you think it'll be an issue get a LT

So you can afford to put down 16 grand, but you cant afford the extra 2-3 bucks per fillup?
even if you fill up twice a week you are looking at 200-300 bucks a year more for running premium.

Premium typically will only cost you another 3 bucks or less per tank - buy something off the dollar menu for lunch if it is that big of a deal. Why would anyone purchase a car if they worry about pennies on the price between grades of gas anyhow. You can't economize a financed item once you agree to the deal

Well difference in 87 and 93 here in Florida is only .30 cent. so that's an extra what say $4.50 a tank. I fill up once a week. So the answer is $18.00 a month extra isn't going to hurt, its pretty cheap entertainment to keep my permagrin

My only regret is that I bought a 2012 1LT first, then traded up to a 2013 1SS eight months later. Should have gone right to the SS from the get-go.

Started looking at an LT, then a convertible, then a settled on a 1SS. My only regret is in December, January and February when I am looking at it sitting in the garage.
