i went with the SLP Loudmouth axle back. Everone seems to complain about droning but its not bad if you have a 6 spd so you can keep the rpm's down but when u want it loud its awsome IMO it sounds like a ferrari LOL...and for 404.00 shipped from Marylandspeedshop.com it was a no brainer.

No it should not void warranty. They would have to prove that your install caused the problem and in most cases the on board computer on the car was designed to make changes for minor mods such as that. You are safe by doing those mods my friend !!

Any sound clips? I used to have a Ferrari with Tubi exhaust...so I would love to hear it.

Do you recommend welding because of some noted leakage with the clamps, or just as a precaution against possible leakage?

Yes, and yes, and just because I don't trust clamps to stay put, and not move around.

I hear ya. It just seems to me (assuming the new MRT pipe slides over or into the existing pipe ) one could wrap a little "muffler tape" type stuff around the joint and them clamp it with something like this...

I would think that would not leak.

What is GFX?

Hey Guys,

I was looking at the MRT V2's, they sound really nice. But I have an honest newb question, my new Camaro is the first car I've had worth modifying.

I noticed on the Juiced website they have MRT 2.0 , and MRT 2.0 (for V6's with GFX).

What exactly is GFX? I have the 2012 V6 2LS.

Can't wait to pull the trigger and buy a MRT V2 in a few weeks hopefully.

Ooo - ooo I know this one. GFX is the Ground Effects option, which has different sized/shaped exhaust tip ports, requiring a different tip on the pipes.

I had to ask too, about a week ago. If your Camaro doesn't have the Ground Effexts option, just get the regular V2.

Thanks a ton man. I didn't purchase a Ground Effects option for my 2LS so that leaves me with regular. You da man!

I upgraded my stock several weeks ago to a GMPP exhuast from a 2010 SS. I had it welded on and it's just axle back but the sound change is major. If I get off my butt I'll have to post a video.
