Right around the corner means, "Exact year is unknown as GM as yet to even comment on a 6th Gen but everyone thinks it's soon."

Its starting to get late in the 5th gen model. I would think by now we would hear something official. A little "stay tuned" on this subject would suffice. I don't need all the details now, I just want to plan ahead.

I dont see 1-LE listed for 2014..GM putting this into the 1-LE and calling it Z/28?? I Have been thinking about getting the 1-LE package...maybe I should wait and see what happens???

Don't worry. 1LE is a performance package not a model. Also GM stated that the vin card is not complete.

I am waiting as well, thats why I haven't pulled the trigger on a GT500 or Zl1 yet. If there is no Z28(i.e. LS7) then it will be a GT500 or ZL1 for me. In a few months we will know.....

The 1LE is just an option package, like the RS appearance package. Its not a trim level/model or an optional powertrain combo, so it doesn't get included

Makes sense, 1LE has always been an option package on certain trim level Camaro's. Most noticeably the Z28, don't get excited though because at that time the Z28 was like the 5th gen SS, nothing super special. Heck back in 98-99 GM used the 1LE on the Firebird Formula WS6 as a suspension package & power accessories (power windows, door locks, and etc) delete, built specifically for the track.
