Halo lights for Fog Lights HELP!!
I am considering buying the halos for the fog lights. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kit to buy? Also, when you install these do they stay on all the time? Just as running lights during the day? OR do they only come on at night with the main Halo head lights??
Your help is very appreciated, thanks guys/gals! |

AAC who is a sponsor on here has the halos for your fogs. You can wire it up to a switch or to your side markers, its up to the owner.

how they work depends on how you wire them. The AAC kit is nice and they send you a DVD with step by step instructions.

The DVD comes with instructions on how to install the halos. It does not include how to wire them unfortunately.

It doesn't include how to wire them? Is it hard to figure out?
The last thing I want to do is short out any other devices in the car with these... |

Its not hard to wire. Just tap the red wire into the side marker lights and they will work the same as the OEM halos.

the halos will only be cosmetic, they really do not throw that much light to be used as fogs. i might use the halos as the day time running light and get a set of the aac plasma bulbs and wire them as fog lights

NORSS426, if you're unfamiliar with wiring, then you can always take it some place or utilize fellow camaro people in your area (see the regional section on here) as someone maybe familiar with wiring or may have done this mod. I'd be glad to help you but I'm in NY

Including taking off the bumper? I'd say 4-6 hours.

I just did my headlight halo's within 4 1/2 hrs and it was the first time taking the bumber off. I have my fog light halo's enroute. They are wicked easy to install... Plus using the parking lights meant I have the function of OEM without needing to add switches... P.S. I have spent some major money with AAC in the past few weeks and highly recommend thier stuff. I have them on my Camaro, Charger R/T, F150 and soon will be helping a buddy on his Challenger SRT8.

Is there a type of Foglight Halo that will look good with HID lights that come stock with RS package? I don't want the colors to clash or have certain lights brighter than the other..

The only fog light halo you will find is through AAC. I have them and they are great, real perfect match.
