There are some Nissan's I like, however the Juke is the worst thing I have ever driven. I wouldn't even call it a car. It was absolute horror. I never drove in a Smart (and never will). I have no clue what makes these things so appealing to some...to each his own...I'll stick with performance.

The title of this thread made me THINK that the article that I've pasted here would be cited... I usually don't give Consumer Reports much credibility, but hey, when it serves my purposes, my desire to show that the blue oval is inferior to the bowtie, then I'm all over it! Look what manufacturer made the list FIVE times here!
xx http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/n...cars/index.htm x The 10 least reliable cars These vehicles aren't a smart purchase Published: October 29, 2013 10:00 AM Just because a model is reliable, doesn't mean it is recommended by Consumer Reports. Five out of the top 10 most reliable vehicles don't perform well enough in our tests for us to recommend them. The opposite happens as well; some vehicles that score well in our testing are not recommended because they have below average predicted reliability. Three out of the 10 least reliable vehicles have high-enough test scores to be recommended, but their poor reliability prevents them from reaching that recommended status. So, it's important to look at performance in our tests and reliability, because a high scoring car isn't always a smart purchase choice if it isn't reliable. Our 2013 Annual Auto Survey reveals the best and worst vehicles in new car reliability based on our subscribers' experiences with 1.1 million vehicles over the last 10 years (2004-2013). Our data provide the basis for our forecasting how the 2014 models are likely to hold up, and reveals the most dependable used cars as well. The vehicles listed below are the 10 least reliable new cars in our reliability survey. Predicted reliability is typically based on the newest three model years if a model hasn't been redesigned in that period, Models with an asterisk (*) are based on data of one model year only. Click on the vehicles below to visit the model overview pages to see how they performed in our tests and also view a more-detailed look at reliability broken down by 17 potential trouble spots. (Model overview pages are available to online subscribers.) Least reliable vehicles, listed in order of Ratings score starting with the worst score. 1. Ford C-MAX Energi (Plug-in Hybrid)* 2. Ford Escape (1.6L Ecoboost)* 3. Mini Cooper Countryman 4. Ford C-Max Hybrid 5. Nissan Pathfinder* 6. Volkswagen Beetle 7. Cadillac XTS* 8. Ford Explorer (V6, 4WD) 9. Hyundai Genesis Coupe* 10. Ford Taurus (turbo)* For more details on our 2013 Annual Auto Survey, including the full list of most and least reliable new cars by vehicle type, see our complete car reliability report. Also, check out our guide to car reliability for more details on new and used car reliability and owner satisfaction. —Liza Barth x x |

Not that I would pick GM because they make great cars these days, but why put them on this poll if you're just going to call someone a troll if they do? You also have Mitsubishi on there twice. I take it that means you want to sway people to pick them.

I have two Hyundais, both over 90+ miles and still going. Yes there has been a few setbacks with them but what would expect out cars that 12 year olds.

Honestly I could point out faults with every single brand on this list. Including GM.

she declined X-rays, but says her chest is acting up Well She hit her chest on the steering wheel on the steering wheel. Why is this? my mom hit her chest on the steering wheel pretty bad, Im sure an airbag would have helped as for my aunt, she hit her head on the column of the passenger side which has the airbag sign, so I'm guessing it would have been better if she hit an airbag as well

However, hitting an airbag is a pretty severe event in and of itself. In a rear end impact, its not hard to believe that it would be worse than hitting a plastic steering wheel mounted on a collapsible column. During a regular front end impact, the airbag is there more to protect you from the windshield & dash that the wheel.
