Well first, as Steve points out your car is not a lemon.
The concern would be that the car never overheated significantly for a long stretch. You didn't say how long you drove the car and what happened to the engine temp. If you got it to your dealer for repair and the car never overheated you should be fine.

1) not a lemon, trust me. I'm dealing with all of that now. Downside to a low VIN
2) hopefully you didn't drive it long like that because burning out an engine the first month of having the car would kind of stink. |

Not even close to being considered a lemon, the rad hose slipping off falls under the "Shit happens" category.

Well, I did get the dealer to fix it. I managed to turn off the engine like a minute or two after the car told me to turn off engine. But it did tell me that the engine power is reduced. and a/c off [i was not using the a/c that time] then i waited for like a couple of minutes for it to cool down a bit. then i turned it on again then drove for like 2miles in order for me to exit. within that two miles i had to turn it off again. then i waited another couple more minutes then had to make an exit. and then at the ramp i had to turn it off again. then a minute or so i had to move and park. like not even half a mile i parked the car. then i called onstar.
THANK GOD ITS NOT A LEMON! GAAHH! i would cry if it were. but then again.. i'd be happy to get a new camaro. LOL I hope i didn't eff up the engine tho. -..-

mom's 84 was a lemon (clutch problems) & like everybody else said, yours ain't one.
now if, over the next few months, you're constantly having to take it in for repairs - then it probably is. you shoulda seen some of the early cars - battery cables had to be replaced, tunes had to be fixed, transmission output shafts had to be changed... your radiator hose was probably just from where somebody didn't get the hose clamp tight enough
