How do I?
I was wondering,.....I see this alot but I don't know how it's done. I can be at a red light and another fast sports car will pull up like a 4th gen or mustang, and what they'd do is move the car to the red light but as they do it, they're revving they're engine and yet the car isn't taking off. I've been wondering about that for a long time, how do you do it?!
Just for show I wouldn't mind pulling up to a redlight while revving my engine. I just don't know how it's done though! If I'm at a red light I'd have to put the dang car in park then rev it or risk burning out in drive, but I see these guys moving while revving the engine slowly creeping up to the red light. They also do it at the drag strip too? What gives?

Power braking! Load the engine with your foot on the brake.

So basically, while coming to a stop, put the gear in neutral, then apply some gas? Then when I'm ready to stop brake?
WOW,.......did not know that. You guys are great. Don't you love this community?

As for the OP, you need to get good at finding EXACTLY where your clutch engages and causes your car to move forward when giving it gas. This way, you can give a little gas, let out on the clutch to its engage point, push it in ever so lightly to disengage it, and rev as much as you want while slowing moving forward from the the initial slight engage w/ little throttle.
