Just because you have nitrous doesn't mean you will win. I've beaten my share of nitrous driven cars in my 89 rx7, and won, it wasn't turbo'd either.

Lol... superchargers, turbochargers, and nitrous all do the same thing, increase cylinder pressure and allow you to burn more fuel. Period.

People just have bad vibe with nitrous. If you know what you are doing it's extremely safe and doesn't have the constant strain on the motor that a s/c produces. Don't go crazy and drop a 200 shot in a stock block, but a 100-150 shot will be fine with a good tune.
oh wait I was thinking about the LSx platform, not sure what an LLT would hold in stock form... 75? 100? |

I believe the 11.9sec v6 is running 125shot without a tune atm. I could be wrong about the tune.

Not everyone wants or can afford a v8.... Nitrous is sick and will be going in my v6, its just lower on the list of mods for me... If you do it right and read up on it, the v6 can definitely handle it without breaking.. but ya it does void the warranty so it wont be going on my car for awhile since i havent even gotten to 1000 miles yet

No matter what you do nitrous will always hurt an engine. If you go nitrous do a wet shot.

Nitrous is probably more reliable than going f/i if you know what you're doing.. |

There's a handful of us v6ers with nitrous. Check out the v6 f/i section to find good info and to ask question, so you don't get a bunch of spam about blowing your motor up or "should get a v8" garbage.
Also check out the v6 bolt-on section for everything else (exhaust, intakes, headers, etc).

Sounds like you need to do some research yourself. You can start with "throttle position sensor" TPS

Going with a 125 shot or less on a stock v6 engine will be ok. Tune with window switch and you should be good if you do everything correct and safely. |
