AIRAID CAI 250-242 not for 2012 V6

Just started the modding of my car. And signed up for Camaro5 today.

I thought I would share my experience. Three local (Calgary) performance shops (and online) had provided me with the 250-242 product code for the Airaid Intake for a 2012 V6 Camaro. Unfortunatly the MAF does not fit and the screws are aligned differently. Finally my guy returned it for me and called airaid. The new product code is 250-310, and is not yet in production, probably by fall 2013.

Sorry to hear about that hassle bro. I had a somewhat similar experience, Injen welded the MAF sensor bung on the intake they sent me backwards...at least they worked with you well on your return! Mine was a nightmare! Looking into any others in the meantime?

Yea, airaid doesn't make an intake for the LFX yet. The only ones I know of right now are injen, CAI, and roto-fab

Yeah it was a bummer because it is mod for the car, and Airaid rates among the top. But I will wait a few months for it, Airaid told me that 250-310 will about 2 months before they go to production.

The 242 is the one I have, awesome on the 2010.
Wow still none for the LFX?

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. I don't think many people know the difference between the LLT and LFX. We offer BBK, CAI, Injen and Roto-Fab for the LFX. Feel free to call, PM or email me with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler
