Please post new threads in appropriate forum

I know its easy to just post something up in 5th gen general, or that some think putting it up here will generate more traffic, but please put things where they belong. Thats why we have so many different sub forums.

If there is some sort of general discussion about the existing 5th generation Camaros (LS, LT, and SS) use this section. Z28 discussion belongs here. If there are pictures or videos, post it up in the media section. On the other hand, if there is some interesting automotive news or some neat car you want to talk about, post it in General Automotive + Other Cars. Likewise, if you'd like people to weigh in on say ... CTS-V vs Panamera, that does not belong in Chevy Camaro vs ... since neither one is a Chevy Camaro.

The regional section is for talking about regional topics, such as local meets or just things that don't matter to anybody else outside of your area. It is not for advertising products, use the appropriate area of the market place for that. There are areas for both commercial postings and for private postings.

For technical discussion, there is a drive train section to talk about engines and related topics, and another technical section for everything from wheels and tires to racing to suspension and others.

If you'd like to talk about previous generations of Camaros you don't need to put it in general automotive. We've got 3 sections dedicated to the other Camaros. There is first and second gen, plus third gen, and fourth gen.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions for Camaro5's staff, post them here. There are also some guides that have been stickied there that are worth reading through.

And before you create a new thread in any area, do a quick search to see if its been discussed already. Sometimes topics get 'introduced' half a dozen times. Also, don't go posting the same topic in multiple areas. We will just merge them together anyway.

Sadly, it seems reading stickies falls into the same problem about just reading the original post and then replying without reading any of the other posts leading to the same answer many times over.
