My local dealer that I’m buying my ZLE from, has a stock 23 ZL1 that is built. It is a stock unit that’s available. It has power sunroof and Infotainment. Taylor Vining at Wilhelm Chevrolet, Jamestown, ND.

I figured someone would be all over this ZL1, rather than sitting at 1100 and waiting for an allocation. United Airlines flies into Jamestown

Their website shows the price at MSRP. I think they charge $139 for documentation fee, which is much cheaper than most dealers.

Spoke to Ron there and they are extremely nice. It is at msrp but they are waiting till it arrives to sale. Sounded like they want to give anyone local a chance to buy it first.

Got a call back from they today. Went from MSRP to 3k over due to all the calls they started receiving. Guess I’ll go back to waiting for one of the other possibilities to show up.

I think Wild Cherry for 2022 was my favorite. I couldn't find one so went with my 2nd choice, black. Satin Steel would have been acceptable as well. The M6 transmission should make it desirable as they have been pretty hard to get lately. I just don't like the tall M6 gearing in the ZL1 on the street. It is geared great for a road course but on the street you are short shifting all the time unless you have some country roads to let its stretch its legs. The A10 shines on the street with its short, tightly spaced gears with rapid fire shifts, but you do give up some driving engagement. Both great transmissions though.
