This is why we park out in the middle of no where. This shit does happen because people get jealous. Call us ass holes, call us anal, I don't want people taking a grand out of my pocket.

OP you're looking at $400.

Honestly, it looks like someone rammed their cart into your Camaro. But then again, I've seen carts pick up a lot of speed on windy days. Was it particularly windy that day?

Did you speak with anyone at Walmart about the incident? All you need to do is go to customer service, ask to speak with a manager, and tell them that your car has been damaged, give them the date and time it happened and they can go back and look at the Cameras. If they can see who did it, and see what vehicle they get back into, they more than likely get the license plate number and you could easily find the person. Well not you, yourself, but the authorities. IMO, that's what I would do.

Just keep in mind those "People of Wal-Mart" most likely drove something there (bubba truck, car, tractor, lawnmower, jackass) and you see how they dress...

Hard to find a safe place to park your car. I currently have 8 dings on passenger side (excluding the 3 I had previously repaired in first 6 months of ownership). Seldom drive. At home park in an underground assigned parking garage and know the people parking to left and right of me and they would not door ding the Camaro as they also have nice cars. At work I park in the back end of assigned parking lot, left side to a curb. I am a professor, pay $756 per year to park in this expensive campus lot. Less than 2 years ownership and still have 8 right side door dings even after I paid to have 3 fixed.
Does not matter if you go to a Walmart and park outside its zipcode. People are careless wherever you park. After 22 months of ownership, and all my body side dings (not all are door dings), I can only assume my Camaro body panels have the strength of tin foil. I have never expericened these ding issues (or paint chip issues) with any other cars I owned and I have been driving since 1967.
FYI, resently had a small rear bumper paint chip fixed with insurance. $655 CAD to fill chip, repaint bumper (labor to remove bumper and inspect $512.91, paint bumper $105, hazard materials removal and taxes, etc. etc.) = $655.97 CAD or $631.27 USD. Granted Canadian tax is high.

You are in denial. Your car was vandalized.

You parked it in an area where most of the people there will never be able to afford to purchase a Camaro during their lifetime.

Get it fixed and don't park it there again unless its the middle of the night and few people are shopping there.

Being under the cover of darkness might protect you.

Another "Oh Shit" moment. Pretty sure they'll have to remove and paint the entire ass end to make her look right.

Everytime I see that, it makes the asshole in me want to go over and kick the car, I don't because I have restraint. It is somewhat like the guy in the other post that made the signs "Please don't ding my Camaro". You are just kind of asking for some smartass to vandalize your car.

One word.... Target.

Mine wasnt nearly as bad as yours, but if thats only your bumper and there is no damage to your quarterpanel, you are looking at $350-$500 and it being in the shop a day and a half. Dealership wanted to charge double from the place I got it done, which is a highly rated chain bodyshop here in Arizona.

Sorry for your loss, makes the ding I got look like nothing. If people don't take care of their own car, they sure will not care about yours and not be honest enough to tell you that they did it.
