Help me choose a color scheme for the SS

The green on top will have the most impact and make people want to come over and look at the car and with the black on top it will be more of a timeless and not dated to a specific era in car building calendar.

The great thing about this is that it is wrap. If the look gets tired then all I have to do is pull off the wrap and I'm back to stock. All the while keeping the Silver Ice Metallic paint from chips and scratches.

I love the concepts of wraps when building cars with neutral engine bay/core support colors as it makes doing color changes that much easier.

I also love the Green Apple wrap my only concern is when you open the hood or door there will be a third color that needs to blend into the mix of the two main exterior colors.

i will probably wrap the door jambs and under the hood, and the inside of the trunk.

I am doing the wrap myself, with the help of a couple of Camaro5.com members. (one owns the Camaro in that current signature pic) so I will save on the labor.

The cost for a wrap job like this would probably be in the range of $4000-4500. It won't cost me that much since I have the previously mentioned labor for free, and I will get a little discount on the wrap since we sell it at Apex.

a more simple wrap (all one color for example) would be less. Not doing the underside of the hood and door jambs would save as well.

something like wrapping a hood in flat black like the 1LE would be just a couple hundred dollars, doing it yourself.

Of course, I'm also talking about GOOD wrap material. This is Avery Supreme Wrap I am planning to use.

I've always liked the look of a satin or flat wrap, but mine is a daily driver and I plan to track it - would this type of wrap hold up under those conditions?

wraps are pretty durable and can hold up to about the same amount of abuse as paint, in general. The good thing about wrap is that if it gets damaged, you would only need to re-wrap that section. All at the same time protecting your original paint finish underneath.

Wrap requires care like anything else, and matte finishes differ in how you care for them, but if you take care of the wrap it can last for years and years. As a daily driver, it would require more cleaning and care than one that isn't a daily driver, but that goes for paint finishes as well.
