I love putting the car in paddle shift mode and 2nd gear about 3,000rpm or so then just let off the gas and hear the popping, crackling noises going down the city streets. Sounds so beautifully nasty!!!!

You know when you're in paddle-shift mode or DRIVE+ mode to engage paddle-shifter's, you can use your automatic stick lever to press up to go up a gear or pull it back to go down a gear ...right? I didn't know this until by accident I pulled down lol!
I use this method more than the paddles. You can also use paddle to go down gears with shifter in D.

Yes indeed i know, i have to use the stick lever when i am about to make a turn from dead stop or else it can be tough to use the paddles being the gears shift so fast. heheheh

Cause I could not even hear my car over my music. That is why I made mine louder.

I noticed today with the M6 Transmission, the NPP exhaust crackles and pops more in track mode when letting off the throttle in 1st and 2nd gear between 2K and 3K RPMs. When in sport mode, the engine seems to hold the RPMs differently and the exhaust doesn't crackle and pop as much.

I assume you have the NPP exhaust. By default when you are in Track mode the NPP vales will open earlier and close later vs. when in Sport Mode. This may explain the difference you notice. You can override the NPP setting if you want by setting it to Track mode all the time if you prefer. I pulled the fuse on mine so the valves never close.

Thanks. That is probably what is happening. I'll be adjusting the exhaust so it stays in track mode. Hopefully the neighbors don't mind

The neighbors wont mind, Once they see the car and how bad ass it is they will quiet up, besides the point how many old school loud cars are in every neighborhood and they will just have to deal with it. Also i pulled the fuse as well and won't ever go back to use the switch modes to be honest. Was fun to show it off to a few people in the beginning but restricting the sound that the car wants to give is no longer in my vocabulary...
