Wow, this is BS.

Oh wait, it's big business and the bottom line always comes first, customers second.

Bankruptcy, reorganization, whatever it is still the same company making the same cars. GM, you got to fix this.

They all do this stuff to avoid recalls...every car maker has had problems they don't want to be responsible for. This is just a different way to avoid paying. They will go to court and play the game and prob end up with some kind of deal. Don't like your gm camaro...go buy a mustang. Im sure ford has no problems at all.

Oh, remember a question like this getting thrown at Obama and hes said something to the effect as dont worry about your warranty, "we (the feds will take care of it for you)"

What happened to that?

I'm sure this gives a lot of prospective buyers confidence. Big mistake imo, hope they rectify it.

So wait. If this is true, this means I could wreck into someones car, and then go legally change my name and not be liable for it.

This is strange. The motor in my 2008 Silverado had to be rebuilt last year, and "New GM" treated me just fine--competely honored the warranty and then some.

Old GM, new GM; still GM? When they restructured why not call it AMC?
