Picking up my SS tomorrow!! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well after a long wait I'm finally going to have me a Camaro. It came in on Thursday and I get to pick it up finally tomorrow afternoon!! I know that a lot of the Bakersfield guys will be seeing me around town and I look forwarding to heading out to their next meet and greet. And now for the modding!!

I picked up a Black SS2 with the auto trans and RS package. Dealer add-on's including black emblems front and rear, the "Camaro" cargo mat, and I'm having them replace the chrome taillight trim that comes with the RS package for painted black trim. I already can't sleep I wish it was in my garage right now!

I definitely will have to grab some. Quick mods to come when I get it include 5% tint all around, taillight blackout, and muffler delete!

When are those meets going to be? I may be able to free up my calendar because I'd love to see what people have managed to do to their rides so far.

i believe there is one every month. also, there is a facebook group for socal camaro5 members. they post the meets there too, which will also send you an email (if you have it set up for that). i don't have the link for the facebook group off hand though. i'm sure someone else can link that for you though if you can't find it.

Here she is, dealer still has to add on a few things but as she sits. Man it's a great feeling to finally own one of these. You feel the nostalgia like you own a piece of history almost!
