Wonder where you got that idea?

Rowing through the gears like that works pretty well, but I think they are talking about not lifting off the throttle to shift... Right foot flat on the floor, stab the clutch and grab the next gear... Without some form of technology, this thing would wind way up.... I'll have to get a two step, or multi step or like was said, some form of ignition limiter...

We'll see what happens when I get back and see how it shifts then... If it's smooth like it was when stock, and can handle the power, then I may just stay like that... or go with something like a two step to help with consistent launches....

I backed out around 145mph. Still think the noise is a little freaky at first. Did you hear it or is it just me?

My understanding is that shifting without the clutch is not the best thing for the tremec.

There is certainly some noise, but I was more tuned into the motor and driveline noise due to my recent problems...I've been 145 several times and didn't note anything that sounded out of place...

I'll let you know what it sounds like at 200 before too long...

You need to take up waterskiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding and tubing. I am sure you have no shortage of water... Just have them bring a ski boat and some davits next time they provision out the rig... Part of the "compensation" package.

future reference for all the technologically challenged like me, if your frigging iPad locks up five minutes into a ten hour flight.... As mine did, just push and hold the app button and the sleep button for about ten seconds... I didn't know that until ten minutes ago when I get to the hotel and my room mate tells me, oh, just do this... ..

So, on a ten hour flight, no reading, no movies, and no sleep.... I frigg'in hate travel..

If I had an iphone from AT&T right now, I would actually be able to make a frigg'in phone call from this #$& country...

I got rid of my Latest and Greatest Droid X phone due to not being able to make or recieve phone calls down here...

Talked to Verizon Tech Support, and lots of others, and all recommend the Newer Later Greater Droid PRO... "It's the International Phone"

So, I'm due for a new every two phone, so... "hook me up."

they did... all the bells and whistles...

Guess What... It doesn't frigg'in work...

I've tried to hook up Automatically, CDMA, GMS, UMTS etc....

Nothing works, except for the guys with me that all have T-Mobile and AT&T Phones, cheap ones and iphone 4's etc... They all have great signals, text, talk, etc... Guess where I'm going when I get home... I'm taking this POS back to Verizon, getting out of the contract, somehow... and going to AT&T... I left them nine years ago... but I guess I'm headed back....
