Wow I can't believe your dealer is just making stuff up! (edit: I guess the dealer is right.... read the rest of the thread)
I totally love the orange and got twice as excited about getting the IOM interiour when I saw the orange rings and would be horrified if I got blue ones because I hate blue, but even I have to admit that it looks sort of cool in your picture. Much better than the blue rings without the orange dashboard strip.

You will not get anything for it. Not an engine cover, not a car cover. Why would the dealer do that? He can replace the cluster and make money on a warranty service or he can give you three hundred dollars of merchandise. Why would he do that?

I love the orange ABL on the doors...but having the blue rings would really offset it!
I agree. I like it more; adds a little bit of contrast with the colors. Very interesting.

I have to agree, leave it like it is and get it documented that it came that way from the factory. Besides, I think it looks great, not that my opinion matters..........

Your car is correct...

We contracted the IP clusters -- and after that was done, we asked to offer Orange Accent Interior on the 2LT as well -- (originally the Orange Accent interior was an SS only option...)

The good news? We got the Orange Accent interior done for the 2LT -- but it was too late to start the process for an orange accent IP cluster for V6. (note that the IP clusters differ between SS and LT/LS)

I should also mention that the rings match the rest of the IP instruments....

So, if you got the V6 with orange interior, you will get blue rings on the gauges?

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!?!?! The orange rings were the big thing that pushed me to spend all the extra money to upgrade to the 2LT to get the orange interiour. Gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Well I guess I can't complain too much since I already said I kind of like it but I can't believe we are just hearing about it now after all this time talking about the IOM interiour package!!!!!!!

So Scott can the rings be swapped out? If I find some guy who got an IOM 2SS that wants the blue rings can I trade him mine for his orange ones? Or is that too far-fetched?
