Norcal Camaro club

A few of us are thinking about starting an actual Norcal Camaro car club. It is going to be alot of work to get it going and maintain it as far as having a website, logos, stickers, shirts, etc.. So we are wondering how many people would be interested in joining before we spend the time getting it set up. There would be some sort of a fee to help pay for expenses. Something in the area of $50 a year is a guess.

Is anyone interested?

What is the benefit of doing that as opposed to using these forums and a name like "Camaro5: Bay Area" (but of course better than that)? Saves on organization, cheaper, less time needed for organization, allows more people to find us more quickly, etc.

Just a thought....

I have setup a Facebook page but as Jeremy said we need to see how many people are interested in this as to get stickers, T-shirts, etc. As with our meets at Blackhawk and other places we get asked all the time what club are we with and this would be a great way to show it off. I have plans on getting us in more shows and events but would like to be official. Checkout the Facebook page as this will be cheaper and easier than a webpage but I was thinking of having a link off a simple webpage to here and the Facebook page. As with any club or group if the members aren't willing to put in the time then its not worth it. Myself and Jeremy are trying to get this going and don't want to be the only ones that drive it. We have a lot of good ideas and things planned so spread the word.

Ya we have a few guys from up in Sac that are interested in this also and I have mentioned it. We were going to call it Bay Area Camaros but didn't want to limit the guys we already have that show up to meets. If we get enough guys that respond from other areas that is for sure what we can do. Then they can have there own get together closer to them.

great, I'm willing to help organize here in the Central Valley (Modesto area) it would be great to be part of a larger group!
