Make sure to install those drop links the right way. Especially if you will ever go to an 18" wheel. Refer to my thread where I put them upside down and they dug into my 18" wheels.

First Exhaust, Headers, CAI, TB, catch can then a little bit later new wheels and new breaks and rotors and now my suspension... next coilovers & then completing with Cam and blower. Build complete!
that's the route I should have went all I had was subframes, when installed the blower had the money at the time, was getting tired of no traction, and to be honest was very scary to drive so decided to add the nto5r drag radials on a set of smaller diameter wheels, which helped, then my tuner told me to start on upgrading rear suspension, then a clutch.

Instant gratification from that whipple i can only imagine though . So i dont really blame you.. i almost went that route to begin with but i wanted to enjoy each mod individually and when it comes time for the maggie.. ill appreciate it more i feel.

Speaking of that whipple. Howd you like the gains of the bat? Did it keep you in your seated postion much more over stock? Lol

So to clarify for myself and anyone else who is reading. You suggest having the threads going north when installed?

yeah I did at least get to enjoy the long tubes, tune, cai part lol. yes you will def. appreciate it more, def. hard to keep you in the seated position, loved it off the bat, started with stock boost, then added the blower cam, biggest difference to me was the water methanol upgrade with adding more boost. with new suspension I can really feel every bit of the horsepower getting to the ground.

So did the 2011 SS Camaros come with the FE3 set up. Am I mistaken in thinking the 2012 and up cars came with FE4? I am not very knowledgable about suspension set ups but would love to have my 2012 SS up to at least 1LE levels.

Yes, the 2010-11 all have the FE3 style setup. Here is a break down of differences and changes:

FE2 = V6 10-15
FE3 = 10-11 SS coupe and 10-15 SS convertibles
FE4 = 12-15 SS coupe (Most 2012 SS's still have the 10mm Front endlink studs vs 12mm)
FE5 = ZL1
FE6 = 1LE
FEA = Z28

Since you have a 2012, I suggest checking the studs on your end links before making a sway bar purchase. Depending on if you have 10mm studs or 12mm studs, will determine what sway bars to order.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

Jesus, thanks man. Now, I just need to learn about where my end links are. I know about motor and go fast performance parts, but not suspension. My car is an early 2012 (11/11 build date) so I probably have the 10MM studs. Is there that much of a difference between the two?

I went with BMR's new 12mm. Ive read no noticeable difference but 12mm vs 10mm. Kinda figured the added structure integrity was worth it.
