WTB Stock Fog Lights
I have an LS Camaro (no fog lights) and am looking to buy some stock fog lights - do not have to have any wiring/harness/etc , just looking for the fog lights themselves.

A1auto has both bezels and lights for about 85...that's where I brought mines from

2012 ls camaro foglights dilemma. Please help!
My dad was about to bite my head off about putting after market fog lights on my car, he made me take it to the dealership and order the gm kit, harness, bezels, and factory switch. Well the dealership had my car for two days. 1st day they ordered the wrong harness. The 2nd day they said gm does have a code to program foglights on a 2012 camaro. OMG. The dealership is now about to put some heat on corporate to find out a solution because I had to fork out $700 for something that doesn't work. They are selling parts that do not have programs . What should I do.

GM does not have programming for 2012, they should have told you that, there is a bullitan on it. I have high connections in GM and cannot get mine done either, I have talked with engineering myself.
Models: 2010 - 2012 Chevrolet Camaro This PI was superseded to update model years and combine documents. Please discard PIC5287A. The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI. Condition/Concern: This document covers two scenarios relative to Fog Lamps. Condition 1: Some customers may comment that their vehicles fog lamps are inoperative. Further vehicle inspection will identify that the vehicle is equipped with the HID Headlamps RPO T4F. Vehicles equipped with HID headlamps (T4F) have DRLs in place of the fog lamps. Condition 2: Some customers may request to have Fog Lamps added or enabled on a vehicle that was not originally built with fog lamps. Recommendation/Instructions: Correction 1: This is a normal operating characteristic. No repairs are recommended. Correction 2: There is not a GM approved fog lamp kit that can be installed on a Camaro not originally equipped with that feature. |
