What's a good price for blacking out the bezels? I'm debating whether or not to have them done by a pro or to black them out myself.

About $150 to buy them. But if you go the DIY route it can be done for $20 and a few hours of your time.

Yes, around $150. I went the pro route because this is my baby and knew I would be washing it a lot. I also wanted the exact factory black. Mine came in an exact match, clear coated with not even a hint of dust or anything under the paint. I'm very happy I went this route.

Hmmm.... I guess it all depends on what shade of black I go with. I'm split between gloss black, flat black and black chrome.

Decisions decisions!

I've been exactly where you are now. The paint and body shop guys recommended the exact match to the car (gloss). I went with their advice and glad I did. You don't even notice the bezels now. They blend right into the black.

I actually want to be able to notice them. They add something extra to the car IMO. I've decided.....

**let the trumpets sound**

I'm going with flat black! lol

Great! A contrast is cool, too. You'll have to post pics.

I had trumpets, too. I made up my mind and ordered the Corsa exhaust this afternoon. I'm glad that's over.

I had flat black for awhile but found that it blended in a little too much for my tastes. Switched over to hydrocarbon bezels and couldn't be happier. Just wanted to let you know of another option you could go with.

Kidha bro. Actually no. I rarely see any Punjabis with the car. I'm in Surrey which is has the 2nd largest Punjabi population in the world (second to London, UK) and the Camaros I do see are driven by non-Punjabis. Even so, Surrey doesn't have too many Camaros either.

Good idea, I guess wouldn't make sense for me to have any color on the exterior. Though I am keeping the IO interior. I wonder if they have any I could put on the grille to replace the stock one.

What do you guys think about adding a matte black vinyl insert (aka blackout) near the grill and trunk? I think the contrast of glossy and matte black would looke interesting.

Opinions?
