This was the case with mine, as well. It only did it when cold. If the dealer doesn't come up with something, I'd try the fluid swap. It's relatively inexpensive and worth a try.

i know.! my roomate has 3 cars so i want another one..LOL
Also i will be paying my camaro next month.. it took me 5 months so i can get a cheaper suv for fun and road trips.. i will ask the guy with 28" if he has all season tires too.. if not might just get a newer escalade with all season tires..

The tires are all-seasons, so I will run them all the time. They are 245/65/17 and were $685 shipped from Tire Rack. From quickly browsing Tire Rack, they'd be the same price in the correct size for an Avalanche.

However, if you want to just get all-season tires for your Camaro, you'd not only save thousands of dollars by not buying another vehicle (not to mention the extra insurance, taxes, registration, etc.), but you'd also be able to drive your Camaro year-round (for the most part). Stock, the 2LT comes with all-seasons, and you don't have a lot of options for those 19's.

You may be better off getting a set of dedicated winter wheels/tires in a smaller size (maybe 17 or 18's?).

I still got stock tires on it as well. 21" to be exact. I would really appreciate the help. -thanks

I have all seasons on my Camaro, but I plan on getting winter wheels and tires for this winter. Tire rack has combos that fit the v6 Camaros starting at ~$900. You can get them even cheaper if you find wheels somewhere else. I've been keeping an eye out for a set of heritage wheels locally. Those make great winter wheels.

Edit: Just checked TireRack. $916, $120.93 shipping, with a $60 rebate for a final cost of $976.93. That does not include TPMS sensors or mount/balance.

If you have a dedicated summer tire, I would get a more true winter tire , or winter friendly all-seasons over not performance all -seasons etc, but that's just IMO. Its all personal choice. I like 1 extreme or the other lol

+ Also what Demonspeed said, wash it weekly, I use to wash my wrx once a week, and made the effort to goto a car wash and just spend a few bucks to wash out all the underside/wheels etc.. and did the same with my Camaro last winter [when it actually snow/salted that is], just don't freeze your doors shut when you do it lol

Their are always choices to winterize, i take everything off of mine [grill, louvers etc] but you can always undercoat it or plasticoat areas and remove it in the spring:P

My winter tires are blizzacks on 19inch rim, I would have gone 18s but the deal/look of the 19s was better at the time, which was thru tirerack and Rudy on this site

I'll third the spray down idea. I do that after I drive on salted roads.

It doesn't hurt to have, its easy to reset as well. In the winter with pot holes etc, and temps going up and down so much around here it's nice to just look at the dash and see the #s

make sure the body has a few good applications of a good synthetic sealant as well. Waxes do not hold up well to our winters.

A good rear main leak will help with that

Just an fyi, I put the 99 for sale on the local marketplace. If I sell it I'm upgrading the 10 to make it more drag friendly, if it doesn't sell I'll put a stall and gears in it next year. easier having one toy. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...13#post5737613
