Anyone esle have a problem with MGW bushing intsall?

I 'am in the middle of the MGW shifter install and there is no way in hell to get the factory rubber bushings into the new arms with out damage!! I'am going to plan B and will post pics.

It was the hardest part of the install, but no damage. I love this shifter, i'm glad I went with MGW.

2010 2SS/RS, M6, OBX 7/8" l/t headers, with high flow cats, MBRP full 3" exhaust, Whipple supercharger, 3.875 pulley, ID-1050X 1260CC injectors, JRE rough idle street blower cam kit, ZL1 fp, ZL1 fpcm, ZR1 3 bar map sensor, cold air intake, Richman 4.10 gears, BMR toe rods, trailing arms, f/r sway bars, f/r sway bar end links, BMR end link brackets, full BMR poly bushing including solid rear cradle bushings, BMR frame connectors and tunnel brace, f/r Hurst swaybar bushing brackets, Fluidamper, MGR shifter, and tune by Jannetty Racing.

I had to use channel locks for mine. George at MGW must have Popeye forarms 'cause it is pretty comical how easy it looks in the video!

I used dish soap and no way it was going in. In the video it shows him rotating the bushing after the install and mine would not budge!!! My parts came in today from Mcmaster Carr and The mod will be finished tomorrow.

I think I used some grease on mine. Then gently squeezed it in a vise. They were definitely stiff going in.

What an absolute PITA this part of the install was. I would gladly have paid a little extra for the bushings to be supplied and pre-installed. That section of the video where he eases them in like butter just pissed me off!
